"A Collector's Guide to Cuban Cigars of the Modern Era" is the subtitle of this brand-new monumental work - and that's exactly what it is! Written in English, the 700-page tome, which weighs a good 4 kg (!), really does offer all the relevant information about every Habano that has come onto the market so far this millennium - from dimensions to packaging types and container sizes to launch dates and edition numbers. The author is top Australian expert Alexander Groom - none other than the creator of probably the most informative Habanos website, the "Cuban Cigar Website"! No wonder, then, that the long introductory section on the history of Habanos, but especially on methods for dating and authenticating the Puros, cannot be surpassed in terms of wealth of knowledge. Last but not least, the colossal publication delights with thousands of beautiful cigar photographs, most of them taken exclusively for this book. With this volume as a gift, even the most reserved cigar lover will dance ecstatically around the Christmas tree!
