Aroma
Although not nominally declared as such, the series is not only a straight Maduro series because of the dark wrapper. Also in terms of taste, the Robusto delivers exactly what the inclined fan expects. Clear sweetness of cocoa, caramel and liquorice meets a wealth of spicy aromas, from oriental notes to a hint of ethereal herbs and a subtle pinch of black pepper. The Robusto is a little more pithy than the gentle Toro, also minimally stronger, but without ever being overpowering. As the smoke progresses, the down-to-earth tobacco spice, but also the sweetness, becomes even more concise.
