Maria Mancini Postre de Banquete No. 3 Belicoso
Worth knowing
In contrast to the stately Torpedo, this dainty "cartridge" is rather a small format for approx. 40 - 50 minutes of smoking time. Similar to the No. 1, it has a character of its own - it's really worth trying this series!
Flavours
As pointed as the shape of this unusually sized cigar is its flavour progression. The massive chocolate note of the big Torpedo is a little more restrained here, but still clearly palpable. The longer you smoke it, the more woody and spicy aromas assert themselves, accompanied by herbal scents and the fine hint of leather typical of the series. In general, the Belicoso is characterised more than other Vítolas by "vegetal" facets - coniferous ethereal, spicy herbs and cedar in combination with discreet liquorice and towards the end pleasantly earthy-peppery components. One of the stronger PdB.s!
