What makes this Robusto Gordo with a smoking time of approx. 60 - 70 minutes so special, what sets it apart from the similarly sized Edmundo? Well, the attentive aficionado will quickly realise that only extra-long matured leaves of the finest quality have been used here. The smoking experience is incredibly smooth; an elegant, subtle sweetness somewhere between vanilla and caramel supports the brand-typical, but here particularly finely balanced interplay of flavours of dark fine chocolate, strong mocha with a pinch of piquant oriental spices and solid, malty-earthy roasted aromas of unique depth. The strength is ‘medium+’, the flavour volume is extraordinarily large.
